Intense clashes erupted in Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Tuesday.
Local reports said that hundreds of people came out on roads amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
“The youths had blocked the roads entering Batamaloo,” reports said, “but forces removed the blockades and entered the area firing tear gas canisters.”
The rally was on way to Bus Stand Batamaloo when forces interncepedt ethe.
“Forces have moved towards Banpora area of the area,” reports said, “shelling and stone pelting is going on.”
