Incarcerated JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik was shifted out of Central Jail Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon.

Along with Noor Mohammad Kalwal, Mali was taken to JIC Humhama, JKLF spokesperson said this evening.

Malik was arrested just after popular militant commander Burhan Wani was killed on July 08, 2016. He was detained at Kothi Bagh Police Station before being shifted to central Jail Srinagar.

Reports said that Malik was first taken to Khyber Hospital for medical check-up before being taken to Police Control Room Srinagar.

Notably, senior resistance leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was arrested and detained at sub-jail Chasma Shahi some days back.

Syed Ali Geelani, who is under house detention, is spear heading the current uprising in Kashmir along with Mirwaiz and Malik.
