At least twenty civilians were injured after forces including police and CRPF men attacked a pro-freedom rally in Pulwama district on Thursday.
Reports reaching here said that a pro-freedom rally was going on in Bathnoor-Lassipora village of Pulwama today.
“But the forces fired tear gas shells and pellets injuring at least twenty civilians,” reports said. Pople from various villages were attending the rally.
Reports said that people from Trichil, Tahab, Tumlahal and Armulla said that the forces vandalised their homes and beat up the inmates.
They said that several persons were detained by the forces in Lassipora and Tantraypora villages.
