Hundreds of people are attending a pro-freedom rally in South Kashmir’s Shopian on Thursday.
Reports reaching here said that locals of Keller area had planned a pro-freedom rally today in the premises of a Darasgah.
“But police and CRPF raided the venue this morning and clashes ensued in which at least a dozen civilians were injured,” a local said, “forces used pellets and tear gas canisters.”
The local added that the forces ransacked the venue. “But, soon people from adjoining areas reached the area and forces left.”
He said that hundreds of people are attending the pro-freedom rally this time.
