A pro-freedom rally is going on in South Kashmir’s Qazigund although forces attacked the venue twice.
Reports said that a pro-freedom rally was planned in Nussu area of Qazigund.
“Forces raided Nussu village and fires tear gas shelling but people resisted the excesses,” local sources said.
They added that forces damaged private property in the area before chasing the forces away.
However, the locals said, people assembled in Nussu this morning. “Forces came again this morning and clashes ensued,” they said.
The locals said that forces are stationed on Srinagar-Jammu highway and intense clashes are going on.
“Many people were injured and are being treated locally,” they said, “but rally is going on.”
