One more youth has succumbed to fire arm injury at SKIMS Soura on Sunday morning.
Sources in SKIMS Soura said that one youth was brought o the hospital from central Kashmir’s Budgam on August 05, 2016. Top police sources confirmed the death of the youth.
“He was hit by bullet in his leg,” sources said.
He was identified as Javaid Ahmad Dar, s/o Gh Mohammad Dar, r/o Wadwan Narbal. He was 16 years old. “He was hit by bullet in Narbal during clashes,” local sources from Wadwan said.
His relatives had entered his name as Lateef Ahmad Dar, s/o Javaid Ahmad Dar. “Obviously,” sources said, “the family of the deceased feared that cops who roam in the hospital might book him in their records.”
Sources added that Javaid had suffered massive blood loss due to bullet injury in his leg. “Doctors amputated his leg but he could not sustain,” they said.
With the death of Javaid, the civilian death toll in Kashmir has reached 81 since July 09, 2016 while as over 12000 others have been injured.
