SRINAGAR

After ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) founding member and MP central Kashmir, Tariq Hamid Karra resigned from his party and parliament, PDP’s senior vice-president in Srinagar resigned from the party.

Jolting the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) again, Nisar Ahmad Mandoo on Sunday resigned and termed the civilian killings in Kashmir as unbearable.

Mandoo cited civilian killings and anti-people policies adopted by RSS backed BJP-PDP collation as a reason for his resignation.

“The PDP I had joined in 1999 endeavoured for political empowerment and restoration of people’s dignity and honour, but PDP today is breaking all records of oppression and tyranny,” said Mandoo.

“I cannot side with the facilitators of this bloodbath. People demand answers for the faith they had reposed in us in elections,” he added.
