Rajiv Mehrishi, Union Home Secretary, Monday called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.
The Governor and the Home Secretary held extensive discussions about the security situation consequent to the recent terror attack at the Army Camp in Uri and about issues relating to the restoration of normalcy in the State, an official spokesperson said this evening.
Meanwhile, Mehrishi called on the Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti here today to discuss the prevailing situation in the Valley.
The Union Home Secretary held detailed deliberations with the Chief Minister over the law and order situation and the measures to be taken to ensure early return of peace and normalcy.
