Eleven Tigers Tuesday won the final match of T20 cricket tournament for 2016 organized by the Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar.

The final match of the T20 tournament was held in the premises of Central Jail. The match was played between Central Jail Super Kings v/s Eleven Tigers, an official spokesperson said Wednesday evening.

Eleven Tigers won the toss and elected to bowl first. Central Jail Super Kings frittered away a solid start and only managed to score 55 runs in 12.3 overs.

Eleven Tigers chased down the modest target easily fuss and defeated Central Jail Super Kings by 7 wickets. Opener Syed Umair Shah was declared man of the match for his winning knock. Meanwhile, fast bowler Khursheed Ahmad Mir also contributed with his tight spell by taking three wickets.

It is pertinent to mention that the T-20 cricket tournament was organized on the directions of S K Mishra, DG Prisons Department. The prizes were distributed among the players by Hilal Ahmad Rather, Superintendent Central Jail Srinagar.
