An encounter broke out in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday morning.
NDTV reported that one suspected militant died in the “encounter” which is underway in Aragam village of Bandipora.
The army, CRPF and police men cordoned off a house located in the forests in Aragam village.
Reports said that a few militants are suspected to be hiding in the house.
“The firing is going on between the two sides,” he said.
