The Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif met the United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in New York on Wednesday, where he handed him dossiers containing evidences of the killings and injuries in Kashmir by government forces.

As per International media, the meeting took place hours after the Pakistan premier’s address with the UN General Assembly. It is being said that Sharif showed Ban Ki-moon pictures of those civilians who were killed and injured in the last more than 70 days of protests.

“The UN secretary general has expressed his grief after witnessing the images that manifested worst human rights abuses in Kashmir.  And presenting the dossiers to Ban Ki-moon, Sharif has thanked him for his statement on Kashmir,” reported a TV channel.

The meeting with the Secretary General comes after the premier addressed the UN General Assembly in New York City.
