In a tragic road accident on Monday morning in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, two persons died on the spot while seven others were injured critically.
Reports reaching here said that a Maruti car was on way to Srinagar when a Tipper rammed over it near Kulangam in between Handwara and Kupwara towns.
“Two persons were killed on the spot,” local sources said, “seven others were injured who were rushed to Srinagar after doctors declared them critical at Handwara hospital.”
The accident happened took place at Tutugund near Kulangam when the Maruti Car was on way to Srinagar.
The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.
