Suspected militants hurled a grenade at the forces personnel in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday morning.
Reports said that the grenade was hurled at the CRPF men deployed in Bon Bazaar Shopian which resulted in injuries to civilians as well as the men in uniform.
“Some CRPF men and a forces vehicle – Vajra – was tationed in Bon Bazaaar when the grenade attack happened,” an eye witness said, “there was some movement of people in the market at the time of blast.”
Sources in Shopian hospital said that they received at least two injured civilians from the grenade attack site when the last reports came in.
