A cyclist has been critically injured after being “hit by” an ‘army vehicle’ at Harnag near railway flyover on Jammu-Srinagar highway in South Kashmir’s Islamabad on Monday afternoon.
The injured youth was identified as Ovais Mohiuden Dar, 28, s/o Gh Mohi ud Din Dar from Gassipora Malpora of Kulgam village.
He was shifted to district Hospital Islamabad, the witnesses and attendants of Ovais said, “after the cycle he was riding on was hit by army vehicle.”
Doctors treating him at Islamabad district hospital termed his “condition as serious”.
“He is in deep shock and in very serious condition,” a doctor at District Hospital Islamabad. The injured Ovais was shifted to a Srinagar hospital soon after declared “serious” by the Islamabad hospital doctors.
