Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has elected a new body of its administrative council relieving Muhammad Ashraf Mir from the post of president.
Mir was recently nominated as member Board of Directors J&K Bank.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, FCIK said that the new president Er Mukhtar Yousuf Bhat chaired a meeting of the federation at its Sanat Nagar office wherein it was said that Mir along with the then body was relieved of its job from October 09, 2016.
“The Oct 09, 2016 meeting decided to form a new administrative council,” the statement said, “Mir led administrative council had already completed its tenure of two years and the Mir led a care taker administrative council of the federation for one and half years since then.”
The statement said that noted industrialist Syed Shakeel Qalander administered oath to new Executive Council members. “Thus the new body enjoys all the rights of executive council and are constitutionally correct.”
