J&K Police on late Friday night announced that the prepaid mobile services will be restored tonight.
J&K Government stopped mobile phone services in the aftermath of militant commander Burhan Wani’s death.
The post-paid mobile are working, however, pre-paid mobile phony was not fully restored.
“With the improvement in the situation,” J&K police spokesperson said in a statement around 10:10 Pm on Friday “prepaid mobile services are being restored from tonight.”
In last three months, when government snapped mobile phone services, only BSNL post-paid phones worked. Mobile internet is still banned while BSNL broadband too was stopped twice in last 98 days.
