SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr. Raghav Langar chaired a meeting to review the status of Kahcharai Land Compensation cases.
The spokesman said that meeting was attended by ADC Pulwama, ADC Awantipora, ACR Pulwama, ACD Pulwama, Exen R&B, Tehsildars and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner impressed upon the officers that Panchayati Raj Act, 1989 should be followed in letter spirit besides plans should be formulated through conducting timely Gram Sabhas.
He stressed upon the officials of line departments that projects above Rs 3 lakh should be to formulated only after technical sanction is accorded. The DC also enjoined upon the participants to make judicious use of funds in creating durable and sustaining rural infrastructure.
