District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Tariq Hussain Ganai, today convened a meeting to review functioning of the Revenue Department in the district.
The DDC instructed the Revenue officials to demolish all the illegal structures that have come up in violation of rules. He directed the officials to intensify the anti-encroachment drive and remove encroachments from Kahcharai and State land.
He also directed Tehsildars to keep strict vigil on conversion of agriculture land to non-agriculture and commercial purposes. He impressed upon the officers to work with added zeal and dedication and ensure efficient public delivery system in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, Girdawars of the District and other concerned attended the meeting.
