District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, Monday chaired a meeting to comprehensively review power scenario in the district.
The meeting discussed various issues related to availability of power supply in the district in detail. The DDC directed the concerned to ensure supply of electric power to public as per schedule.
He stressed on immediate repair of all damaged transformers and their subsequent installation at required places in the district so that people don’t face any inconvenience.
The meeting also approved action plan of Rs 100.11 lakh for improvement of HT/LT network for year 2016-17 to augment power infrastructure in the district.
