Locals of Kulan Singhpora in north Kashmir’s Pattan Friday spotted a dead body in an apple orchard.
A team of police later reached the spot and took the body in its possession. The dead body was later identified as Showkat Ahmed, 32 of Kulan, Singhpora.
The body has been sent for post mortem, a police official told Kashmir Life.
Police sources told Kashmir Life that three persons have been arrested and investigations are on.
As of now, the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, they informed.
To mention deceased was missing from February 19.
