MLA Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabar Tuesday raised the issue of death of two labourers of Ganderbal district who died during dredging work on Nallah Sindh and River Jhelum recently.
The MLA said that Fayaz Ahmad Teli of Batipora and Irfan Ahmad Mela of Fethipora died at the work site.
Sheikh Ishfaq demanded ex-gratia relief in favor of the next of the kin of the deceased and also sought enquiry into the cause of death.
]The issue was raised by the Member while intervening during Question Hour in Legislative Assembly today.
