SRINAGAR: In a plea filed by the family of ailing Altaf Shah, the High Court in Delhi has ordered his shifting to AIIMS. He is currently in the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, reports appearing in the media said.
Shah is in jail since 2017, in a terror funding case that NIA is investigating.
The plea has said Shah has been detected with the last stage of renal cancer and RML Hospital lacks facilities to manage the disease so he should be shifted to AIIMS. The court also permitted his son or daughter to meet him in hospital for an hour daily, reports appearing in the media said.
