The Department of Hospital Administration, SKIMS Thursday organized Health care management update in the auditorium of hospital, a statement issued here reads.
The Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme was attended by the leading Health and Hospital Administrators of valley including from Ladakh, Leh and Kargil.
The Chief Medical Officers, Medical Superintendents and Block Medical Officers attended the programme.
The Programme was addressed by Director SKIMS, Dean of Medical Faculty, Medical Superintendant SKIMS, and Joint Medical Superintendant.
Hospital Infection Control, Patient Safety, Disaster Management in Health Care, Biomedical Waste Management and Materials management were discussed and deliberated upon.
On the occasion speeches were delivered by Dr Gulnaz Bashir Additional Professor Microbiology, Dr Farooq Jan Additional Professor Hospital Administration, Dr Abdul Majid Ganai Professor SPM, Dr GH Yatoo Associate Prof Hospital Administration and Dr Haroon Assistant Professor Hospital Administration.
The sessions were chaired by top faculties and administrators of the valley.
The statement said that the Programme is going to play a vital role in improving Management of Health.
