Police in Northern State of India, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested the accused Hindu Mahasabha leader Kamlesh Tiwari who allegedly passed derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad (SAW), The Indian Express reported.

Tiwari was claimed to be associated with the Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha.

Quoting SP West, Ajay Kumar, confirmed the arrest of the person, identified as one Kamlesh Tiwari.

The SP had told media persons that Tiwari circulated a paper allegedly containing derogatory comments against Muslims.
