Despite the rain, one-way traffic continued to ply on Srinagar-Jammu highway with hundreds of vehicles leaving Kashmir for Jammu on Thursday morning.

Hundreds of vehicles, including those carrying passengers, left different parts of Kashmir valley for Jammu on the highway early on Monday morning, a traffic official said.

However, no vehicle will be allowed to move on after the cut of hours, he said, adding vehicles will not be allowed from the opposite direction.

Meanwhile, Leh-Srinagar highway, connecting Ladakh region with the valley, and historic Mughal road remained closed for traffic from last about two months due to the accumulation of several feet of snow.
