SRINAGAR: Director General of Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chaudhary, visited the border district of Poonch on Thursday to inspect the damage caused by recent Pakistani shelling.
An official said that the BSF chief visited Gurdwara Singh Sabha and Geeta Bhawan, both of which suffered damage during the cross-border shelling incident.
During his visit, DG Chaudhary assessed the extent of the damage and interacted with members of the management committees of both religious sites.
Officials said the visit aimed to evaluate the ground situation and extend support to local communities affected by the shelling. (JKNS)
