Arun Kumar Sharma, ADG CRPF, met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan Jammu on Monday.
Lt Governor lauded the role being played by the CRPF in maintaining security in J&K and advised heightened surveillance on all fronts for ensuring safety and security of people.
Meanwhile, Dilbag Singh, DGP J&K, also met Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu at the Raj Bhavan.
Singh briefed the Lt Governor about the present internal security situation and many important matters relating to Law and Order management in J&K.
Lt Governor emphasized the vital importance of regularly reviewing and effectively ensuring the security of all protected premises and also discussed various issues relating to the welfare of police personnel and their families.
