Newly appointed Director General of Police J&K, Dr. S.P. Vaid, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan on Monday.
This was Dr. Vaid’s first meeting with the Governor after taking charge.
During discussions with Dr. Vaid, according to spokesman, Governor stressed the vital importance of public order being maintained, as a first step towards securing peace and normalcy.
The Governor wished Dr. Vaid a successful tenure ahead.
