SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Jammu, has ordered the immediate repatriation of nine health department officials working in Block Thathri, Doda district, to their original places of posting in the interest of administration and patient care.
According to an order issued by Director Health Services Jammu, Dr Poonam Sethi, the officials have been detached from their current assignments and directed to report to their parent institutions with immediate effect for further duties.
The officials include Balvinder Singh (Health Educator), Amit Parihar (Sanitary Inspector), Javed Iqbal Kichloo (Superintendent Pharmacist), Anil Singh (Junior Assistant), Mohd Amin (Senior Laboratory Technician/BBT), Ighlaq Ahmed (MTS), Jiven Parkash (Ward Boy/MTS), Rajnish Kotwal (Junior Laboratory Technician) and Arun Kumar (Junior Pharmacist).
As per the order, the employees had been working at various health and government institutions, including Sub-District Hospital Bhaderwah, the Chief Medical Officer’s Office Kishtwar, MAC Patimhal, District Hospital Ramban, Associated Hospital GMC Doda, Tehsil Office Kahara and MAC Inharra, and have now been directed to return to their original postings at CHC Thathri, AH Thathri, PHC Premnagar and Sub Centre Joura.
The order states that the transfers have been made with immediate effect to strengthen administrative functioning and improve patient care in the health sector.
