Terming dialogue without the inclusion of Kashmiris as a ‘meaningless exercise’, senior Hurriyat leader Prof Abdul Gani Bhat today said that India and Pakistan should hold dialogue across the table without any further delay. He said that people of Kashmir are owners of their destiny and resolution of issues should be according to wishes of people.

“Dialogue without making people of Kashmir its part is not a trust worthy exercise. Solution has to be found according to wishes and aspirations of people. India and Pakistan should initiate dialogue process without any further delay as a permanent solution to vexed Kashmir issue is the only guarantee for peace to prevail in South Asia”, Bhat said while addressing party workers at Rajbagh here on Sunday.

He said that both India and Pakistan should take people of Kashmir into confidence and seek permanent solution to Kashmir issue through a meaningful dialogue.

“Without solving Kashmir Issue, both countries cannot prosper in an atmosphere of stability and peace”, said the Muslim Conference patron. He insisted upon leadership of both the countries especially policy makers to make collective and serious effort for the establishment of permanent peace in region especially in Afghanistan.

Earlier, the senior Hurriyat (M) leader welcomed senior resistance leader Dr Ghulam Mohammad Hubi, social activist Advocate Abdur Rasheed, Abdul Gaffar and Abdul Gaffar Guffari who along with their supporters joined Muslim Conference.
