The prestigious Dr RS Paroda Award for 2014 was conferred on Prof Nazeer Ahmed, Director CITH, an official statement said on Tuesday.
“Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India, New Delhi conferred the prestigious Dr R. S. Paroda Award for 2014 to Prof. Nazeer Ahmed, Director, Central Institute of Temperate Horticulture, Srinagar during ‘Global Conference on Technological Challenges and Human Resources for Climate Smart Horticulture’ held recently at NAU, Navsari Gujarat from 28-31st May 2014,” the statement said.
The award has been conferred on Prof Nazeer Ahmed ‘in recognition of his outstanding contributions made in the field of horticultural research and development’.
