The government has enjoined upon all Deputy Commissioners, District Superintendents of Police not to leave the Headquarters without prior permission of the designated authority.
In fresh instructions, the General Administration Department, while referring to the previous circular instructions and the latest one issued under Circular No. 17 GAD of 2013 dated 20.18.2013, has asked all the concerned to comply with the directions.
The circular further directs that the Divisional Commissioners and Inspector Generals of Police of the respective divisions and Zones shall also not leave the Headquarters without permission of the Chief Secretary. However, the office of the Chief Minister shall be kept apprised accordingly.
