Div Com Kashmir Launches Citizen-Friendly Website for Enhanced Digital Governance

   

SRINAGAR: The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, on Thursday launched a new S3WAAS-powered website for the Office of the Divisional Commissioner, marking a significant stride towards digital governance and citizen-centric service delivery.

The website, developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) Srinagar, adheres to the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW) and is powered by the Secure, Scalable and Sugamya Website as a Service (S3WAAS) framework. Designed to act as a robust and user-friendly digital interface, the platform aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility for the citizens of Kashmir.

Speaking at the launch event, Div Com Bidhuri emphasised the transformative potential of the new website. “The launch of this website reflects our commitment to leveraging technology for better governance. This platform will bridge the gap between citizens and the administration, ensuring that important information and services are just a click away,” he said.

The Divisional Commissioner highlighted the website’s role in fostering a digitally empowered society, calling the initiative a “significant milestone” in enhancing administrative outreach. He also lauded NIC Srinagar for their technical expertise and dedication in bringing the project to fruition.

The website offers various features for seamless interaction between the administration and citizens. Residents are encouraged to explore the platform and provide valuable feedback to further improve its functionality.
