Alleging that the doctors murdered their daughter, the residents of Chadoora area of Budgam Tuesday protested against the negligence of doctors in sub-district hospital Budgam that claimed life of a young woman.
The patient was identified as Kulsuma Akhtar w/o Ghulam Muhammad r/o Mochua.
The protestors said that the doctors were supposed to operate the patient to remove her Gall-Bladder. “However, after being operated upon, her dead was handed over to her relatives who were waiting for her outside the theatre,” the protestors said.
The protestors alleged that the patient’s internal organ had been “damaged” which resulted in her unfortunate death.
Kulsoom, 35, is survived by two children and her husband Ghulam Muhammad.
