SRINAGAR: As Covid-19 cases continue to be on the rise, the J&K administration today posted Dr Narinder Bhutyal as Incharge Medical Superintendent in the 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital, Jammu, Dr Parveen Yograj as Programme Manager, State Health Society, J&K and Dr. Abdul Rashid Parra, as Incharge Medical Superintendent in the 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital, Srinagar.

The order reads, “Consequent upon the establishment of two 500-bedded temporary COVID Hospitals, one each at Jammu and Srinagar vide Government No. 398-JK(HME) of 2021 dated 18-05-2021 and in order to make these Health Institutions functional, the following transfers/ postings of the doctors are hereby ordered with immediate effect in the first instance:

  1. Dr. Narinder Bhutyal, Programme Manager, State Health Society, J&K on deputation basis is transferred and posted as Incharge Medical Superintendent in the 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital, Jammu.
  2. Dr. Parveen Yograj, Incharge DIO, Rajouri is transferred and posted as Programme Manager, State Health Society, J&K on deputation basis.
  3. Dr. Abdul Rashid Parra, Consultant Anesthesia, National Health Mission on deputation basis is transferred and posted as Incharge Medical Superintendent in the 500 bedded temporary COVID Hospital, Srinagar.”

The above arrangement is made purely on temporary basis and bject to the outcome of writ petition(s), if any, pending before the court of Law and shall not confer any right upon the officers to claim prefertial treatment at the time of regularization/promotion which shall be made strictly in accordance with rules, the order further reads.
