Government Monday appointed Dr A G Ahangar as the new Director of S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Srinagar.
An order to this effect was issued on Monday after Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who is the Chairperson of SKIMS Governing Body approved his appointment. He was among the three candidates shortlisted by the selection committee.
Dr Ahangar is currently Director of AIIMS North East Shillong.
