Jammu and Kashmir National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah on Saturday expressed profound grief over the demise of veteran Kashmiri journalist, former president of the press council of India Rahul Jalali.
Party president while expressing grief said, “One more sane voice from the journalistic fraternity has turned silent. My sincere condolences with the family of the deceased. His death is a big loss to the journalistic community. May his soul rest in peace.”
Party vice president while expressing grief said, “We have lost a veteran Kashmiri journalist in his shape. It is a huge loss for the fraternity as well as for the state itself. He shall be fondly remembered for his immense knowledge on Kashmir. I pay my tributes to his soul. May his soul rest in peace.”
Meanwhile, party’s provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani, chief spokesperson Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, provincial Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also expressed grief over the demise of veteran journalist and prayed for peace to his soul.
