Senior PDP leader and former Minister Naeem Akhtar has appealed the governor administration to provide all necessary help to the cloudburst victims in north Kashmir’s Bandipora area.
As per the reports, cloudbursts hit Ahimsharif and Arin areas of Bandipora at around 3: 00 PM on Saturday, causing damage to residential houses and crops. No loss of life was, however, reported.
Akhtar while expressing solidarity with those who have lost their houses and crops due the cloudbursts has asked the administration to immediately arrange for relief and rehabilitation for affected people.
He also asked the administration to access the damages and sought compensation for the victims without delay so that they would be able to start their lives afresh.
