Noted social activist from Ganderbal, Dr Syed Shirazi today joined Peoples Conference in presence of party chairman Sajjad Gani Lone here. Dr Shirazi called on the Peoples Conference leader and expressed his desire to be a part of his party. He was accompanied by scores of his supporters.
While welcoming entry of Shirazi into the party fold, Lone said the party would collectively strive towards mission change people. The decades old rule by the twin traditional families in Kashmir has been marked by corruption, nepotism and massive human rights violations. The people of Kashmir deserve a change.
As per a local news agency, KNS, among others party general secretary Rashid Mehmood, Mir Ghulam Rasool Bhatwani, Fayaz Alam,Quomddin Shilwati and Ghulam Dar were present on the occasion.
