A Tipper driver died after the vehicle he was driving slipped near Salamabad in Uri.
Sources said that a Tipper bearing registration number JK05C-9840 on way to Srinagar loaded with Gypsum slipped at Salamabad in Uri resulting in the death of its driver.
He was identified as Sajad Ahmad Janjawa son of Abdul Hamid Janjawa, a resident of Dardkote Uri.
Meanwhile, two passengers travelling in the Matador, bearing registration number JK05C-4858, were injured after it met an accident on Jabla road in Uri.
The identity of the injured could not be ascertained.
