A man had a miraculous escape after a giant poplar tree fell down on his car in Awantipora area in southern aprt of Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday morning.
The mishap took place near a bank on the Srinagar-Jammu highway when a poplar tree fell due to strong winds and crushed the car.
However, the driver of the car was immediately rescued by the locals. His identity was not immediately known. The tree also blocked the movement of traffic on the highway.
