A bus driver died in a road accident at Bihari Mode Isham area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.
Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JK05A- 6137 was on way to lalpull to Isham rolled down 30 feet near Bihari Mode Isham area of Uri when the driver suddenly lost control on speed and fell into a deep gorge resulting in on spot death of the driver while the conductor got critically injured. He was later rushed to nearby hospital, reports added.
Meanwhile, Police identified the deceased driver as Bashir Ahmed 45, son of Mohammad Rajab resident of Syed Kareem Baramulla while the injured conductor was identified as Farooq Ahmed resident of Nambla Uri.
A case has been registered in this regard.
