Srinagar

Train services remained suspended for the second successive day on Tuesday for “security reasons” in the Kashmir valley.

All trains will remain off tracks in the Kashmir valley today also, a railway official said.

They said the decision to suspend train services on Srinagar-Banihal track has been taken for the security of passengers and railway property following an advisory from state administration and police.

Pertinently, three militants and four civilians were killed in two different force’s actions in Shopian and Pulwama districts on Sunday and Monday.
