SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday announced that all government and private schools in the districts of Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, and Samba will remain closed on May 14.
An official from the Directorate said that the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the prevailing situation.
However, the official added that schools in Udhampur district and the zones of Bani, Basholi, Mahanpur, Bhaddu, Malhar, and Billawar in Kathua district will remain open and function normally. (JKNS)
