SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has declared the services of late Sahail Bashir Lone, a deceased 3rd Teacher posted at Middle School Jalidora in Gurez zone of Bandipora district, as quasi-permanent with retrospective effect.
According to Order No. 271-DSEK of 2026, dated July 24, the decision has been taken under Rule 3(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Temporary Service) Rules, 1961, based on a recommendation forwarded by the Chief Education Officer, Bandipora.
The order states that Lone’s services have been declared quasi-permanent against the post of Teacher with effect from October 10, 2011, the date on which he completed three years of continuous service in the department.
The declaration is subject to conditions that the deceased employee was appointed by the competent authority against a substantive post, rendered uninterrupted service without any unauthorised absence, maintained satisfactory work, conduct and integrity throughout his service, and had no pending cases before any court, the Crime Branch, the Anti-Corruption Bureau or any other investigating agency.
