SRINAGAR: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has directed all Chief Education Officers (CEOs) to submit details of eligible masters and teachers who have not applied for transfer under the Annual Transfer Drive (ATD)-2026, along with zone-wise and school-wise vacancy positions, within two days.
In a communication dated October 14, 2026, the Directorate asked the Chief Education Officers to provide the information in the prescribed formats, including a soft copy in Microsoft Excel, describing the matter as “most urgent”.
The Directorate has sought the names, designations, current places of posting and length of stay at the present place of posting of masters and teachers who were eligible for transfer under Notification No. 01-JK (Edu) of 2026, dated August 21, 2026, but did not submit applications through the online portal.
It has also asked for school-wise and zone-wise details of vacant master and teacher posts, the number of teaching staff currently working in each school, and any surplus or shortage of staff.
