SRINAGAR: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Moulvi Mohammad Umar Farooq has expressed concern over the reported attack on a Kashmir-bound passenger bus in Haryana, urging the authorities to ensure the safety of Kashmiri travellers and take strict legal action against those responsible.
In a post on X, Mirwaiz said an elderly passenger was injured in the incident, while other passengers were left traumatised.
He also expressed concern over reports of threats against vehicles registered in Jammu and Kashmir, saying the authorities must take steps to protect Kashmiri travellers.
Mirwaiz called for swift action against those responsible for the attack.
