DSEK to Conclude ‘Student-Friendly’ Exams by Mid-December: Director School Education

   

SRINAGAR: Director of School Education Kashmir, Tassaduq Hussain Mir, announced on Saturday that student-friendly, competency-based annual exams for classes 1 to 9 will be completed by mid-December.

Speaking to reporters he said that a uniform date sheet for these exams will be released soon.

“We have proposed conducting exams for classes 1 to 9, and expect to conclude them by mid-December, allowing students to prepare for the next level,” he stated.

He also encouraged students not to stress over syllabus completion, noting, “We are aware of the syllabus status and have nearly completed 90 percent of it.”

Mir further clarified that these will be school-based exams. “There is nothing to worry about. Students are advised to remain calm, as the exams will be student-friendly and competency-based.” (KNO)
