Protests erupted in Lethpora area of Pampore over ‘mishandling’ of roads by authorities.
According to reports, people of Lethpora blocked the highway over negligence of government in properly handling the roads on which work is going on.
Locals allege that the road widening and process of packaging has led dust and hazardous particles to spread all around thereby posing serious threat to residents and people moving in the area.
“They should have done it properly like using water to reduce dust,” local told Kashmir Life
The protests led to huge traffic jam as the road is only link to South Kashmir.
