SRINAGAR: A 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck the Union Territory of Ladakh on Saturday.

The seismic event, recorded at 8.25 am by the National Center for Seismology, had a depth of 10 kilometres beneath the surface. The coordinates placed it at a latitude of 35.44 degrees and a longitude of 77.36 degrees.

There is no indication of damage reported from any part of the Union Territory yet.
